Day 1. Belgrade – Novi Sad – Cenej –Novi Sad (cca 115km)
Arrival to the Belgrade airport. Rent-a-car check in, departure to Novi Sad. Arrival to one of the many salas farms on Cenej. Traditional local specialties and relaxing day in typical atmosphere of Vojvodina region and beautiful sound of musical instrument „tambura“. Horse back riding and rich programme in entertainment for children. Departure to Novi Sad. Accomodation in apartment in the very center of the city, dinner on Petrovaradin fortress. Overnight.

Day 2. Novi Sad – Bac – Sombor – Backi Petrovac - Novi Sad (cca 195km)
After breakfast, departure to Bac, visit to the minor priory and fortress from XIV century built on a small island made from former river Mostonga. Departure to Sombor, sightseeing. Visit to the Church of Holy Trinity, Milan Konjovic’s gallery, Zupni Dvor (castle) which has the famous sundial, shopping at the open market... Departure to Backi Petrovac where you'll find the friendly hospitality of the hosts who will embrace you in their home and offer you the famous culinary specialties (famous Slovakian ’kulen’ or ’sarma’; pork with potato and domestic sausage...). Return to Novi Sad. We recommend you to take a short evening walk or a drink in one of the many cafes in the pedestrian zone in the center or a night out in one of the many nightclubs in the city.

Day 3. Novi Sad – Petrovaradin – Sremski Karlovci – Fruska Gora – Sremska Mitrovica – Novi Sad (cca 140km)
After the breakfast we recommend you sightseeing of the town, walk in pedestrian zone (Sloboda Square, Cathedral, City Hall, Zmaj Jovina Street, Dunavska Street, Orthodox Church) or visit one of the museums. After that, across the river, visit to the Petrovaradin fortress – famous as Gibraltar on the Danube, represents a classical example of military architecture of the XVIII century with the most beautiful view on Novi Sad. We recommend you to take a tour in underground system of military galleries, with profesional guide. Departure to Sremski Karlovci - small baroque town, famous for its beautiful architecture and wine and grape from the nearby vineyard on the brows of the Fruska Gora Mountain. City sightseeing and wine tasting in one of the many wine cellars in Karlovci town. Short break for the lunch, we recommend you a restaurant „Danube“ on the river. Departure to Fruska Gora and visit to monastery Hopovo and Krusedol, two of the 15 monasteries on the Fruska Gora mountain. Because of that fact, Fruska Gora is known as „Sveta Fruska Gora“ by the reputation of Sveta Gora on the Athos in Greece. Both monasteries are dating back from XVI century. Departure to Sremska Mitrovica, archeological and historical sight and museum. This is one of the oldest towns in Europe that stands on the site of Sirmium, the capital of the Roman Empire and a birthplace of 6 great Roman emperors. The complex of archeological excavated objects of this town, today represents an unique open-air museum. Return to Novi Sad. Overnight.

Day 4. Novi Sad – Zrenjanin – Carska Swamp – Kovacica – Vrsac (cca 170km)
Breakfast. Departure to Zrenjanin and a sightseeing of the city center. Departure to Carska Swamp (protected with Ramasar Convention), a natural reservation. We recommend you a two hours cruising with a tourist boat through one of the biggest ornithology stations (settle around 400 bird species) in Europe. Departure to Kovacica village and visit to the ethno center Babka where the world famous Naive Art Gallery is. You’ll have a possibility to enrich your private collection or to buy some of ethno-souvenirs. Departure to Vrsac, town known to it's wineyards and wine production. Accommodation and overnight.

Day 5. Vrsac – Viminacium – Silver lake – Golubac – Captain Misa's hill (cca 135km)
Breakfast. Short walk through the center of the city. Travelling across the Danube on a ferry near medieval fortress of Ram and arrival to archeological site called Viminacium, ancient Roman city and former capital city of the region „Upper Mezija“ with the remains of the fortress. Viminacium, also known as „ Balkan Pompeii“, was robbed and destroyed in V century. The remains were under the ground till recent times. Departure to Silver lake. Swimming and laying on the beach, relaxing day near water. Departure to Golubac and visit to medieval city of Golubac - a huge fortress on the shore of the Danube from XIV century. Short journey to Captain Misa's hill, where accommodation will be in a beautiful household. Overnight.

Day 6. Captain Misa’s hill – Djerdap – Lepenski Vir – Donji Milanovac – Vratna – Negotin – Gamzigrad – Boljevac (cca 210km)
Breakfast. Departure to National Park “Djerdap”, the greatest natural and archaeological museum in Europe. Visit to numerous cultural and historical sights – Lepenski vir a unique prehistoric discovery, brought to light about twenty years ago, that presents the first track of civilisation on this area. Travelling through Donji Milanovac and arrival to a beautiful natural phenomena near the place called Vratna. River canyon, which is located in the region of Negotin, it is located and hidden in wild nature. It is a bit difficult to access to it but because of that it is a treasure of big interest. On a relatively small area, the river made specific natural phenomena in shapes of caves, canyons and arches across the river. Visit of monastrery Vratna from XIV century. Departure to a village 30km from Negotin. Visit and wine tasting of famous domestic wines in famouse wine cellars of ''Rajacke pimnice''. Departure to Gamzigrad. Visit to the Roman complex called "Felix Romuliana", one of the most important late Roman sites in Europe, located in the vicinity of Gamzigrad spa. Felix Romuliana is from last year, under protection of UNESCO. Archaeological diggings in the fortress have unearthed the remains of a palace with exceptionally fine mosaics, public baths and impressive city gates. Departure to Boljevac. Accommodation in Boljevac, overnight.

Day 7. Boljevac - Zagubica’s well – Resavska cave – Lisina waterfall – monastery Manasija – Markovac (cca 195km)
Breakfast. Departure to Zagubica’s well. It appears as a lake and it is the deepest spring in Europe. Beauty and attractiveness of springs completes forested area and nicely decorated island. Well of Zagubica was declared a "hydrological natural monument". On your way to Resavska cave, we recommend you to visit waterfall Lisina, the highest waterfall in Serbia, 20 m high. With his beauty and wildness is a realy breath-taking scenery. 10 km from waterfall, Resavska cave is situated. One of the most beautiful caves in Serbia. You have a chance to walk in some 800 m long path through the cave on two levels and to see most beautiful examples of the cave forms and halls. Departure to monastery Manasija from XV century, endowment of despot Stefan Lazarevic, one of the most significant monuments of medieval Serbian culture. Departure to Markovac, accommodation and overnight.

 

Day 8. Markovac – Topola – Oplenac – Orasac – Belgrade (cca 140km)

Breakfast. Departure to historical town Topola. Visit to military museum, church, commemorative school and fountain which represents a memorial compound of buildings proclaimed for the protected cultural wealth. Visit to Oplenac, the hill above Topola. Picturesque landscapes with endless clearings, valleys in the heart of Serbia which used to be holiday resorts and the place where the Serbian kings of the Karadjordjevic Dynasty had their resorts. In the beutiful church of St.George all the members of the royal family are buried – Karadjordjevic mausoleum.. Departure to Orasac, the historical place where the First Serbian Uprising against the Turks was held. After, we organise you lunch in a rural household called „vajat“ in authentic local ambient with beautiful view on this region of Serbia called Shumadija. Atmosphere. great food and a typical Serbian drink called „rakija“ along with the serbian folk music will bring you back to the Serbia from XIX century. Departure to Belgrade. Accommodation in apartment in the center. Overnight.

 

Day 9. Belgarde
Breakfast. A day in Belagrade, capital city of Serbia. Walking sightseeing of Belgrade - Kalemegdan fortress - primary bulit by Celts in the III century BC with the ZOO, Republica Square, Knez Mihailova Street - main pedestrian zone with cafes and shops, Terazije, St. Sava's temple - the biggest orthodox church in the world, Parliament, St. Mark’s church, open markets... Visit the “House of flowers”, grave of long standing president of former Yugoslavia – Tito. Dinner accompanied by musicians at the famous bohemian Belgrade quarter of Skadarlija that emanates an oriental atmosphere, and to those who want to experience a real Balkan night life, we recommend cafes on the river in Belgrade and Zemun. Overnight.

 

Day 10. Belgarde (cca 20km)
Breakfast. Departure to the Airport and a flight home.
