Day 1. Belgrade
Arrival in Belgrade. Free time for exploring of Serbian capital. Overnight at the 3* hotel in Belgrade.

*We suggest you walking sightseeing tour through Kalemegdan Fortress – primary built by Celts In the III century BC. We recommend you to walk through Knez Mihailova Street – main pedestrian zone with cafes and shops, Terazije, St Sava Temple – the biggest orthodox church in the world, Parlament, St Marko church, see our open markets…. Visit the House of flowers, grave of long standing president of former Yugoslavia – Tito. After full day tour, the best choice for the dinner is Skadarlija – old bohemian part of Belgrade, well-known for its architecture and traditional restaurants with delicious specialties.

Day 2. Belgrade - Topola and Oplenac – Zlatibor (cca 200 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Topola and Oplenac. Late afternoon arrival to Zlatibor, one of most famous places in Serbia, a renowned summer and winter tourist hotspot with the longest tourist tradition of any of Serbia’s mountains. Overnight at the 4*hotel at Zlatibor.

*Topola and Oplenac are two beautiful spots in the heart of Serbia that serves as the resting place for Serbian kings of the Karadjordjevic Dynasty. The Karadjordjevic mausoleum is located in Oplenac. We suggest you to visit Bukovicka Spa, famous for its mineral water. Take a break and walk through beautiful spa’s park, one of the most beautiful in Serbia.


**We recommend you to taste enjoyable food at Zlatibor. Among various Serbian specialties, make sure not to skip one that’s specific to this mountain called „Komplet lepinja“, warm traditional bread with gravy and dairy. You should also let loose and try local lamb or pork roast, a specialty that people of Serbia are very proud of, and Zlatibor mountain offers some of Serbia’s finest roast dishes.

Day 3. Zlatibor – Mokra Gora (cca 35 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. You can visit the open-air museum of folk architecture that is the Staro Selo (Old Village) ethnic village in Sirogojno has typical 19th-century Zlatibor farmsteads on display. Departure to Mokra Gora and Mecavnik, an ethno village, established by famous Serbian film director Emir Kusturica. It consists of wooden houses, precisely log huts, which preserved the authentic of this part of Serbia. Mecavnik has also a church, restaurant, souvenir shop, gallery, cinema Underground, national restaurant, weave workshop, and many other things that makes your stay unforgettable. Overnight at 4* hotel in Mećavnik.

*Take a ride with famous train Cira and Sargan Eight, which represents one of the most attractive tourist destinations of Serbia.

 

 

Day 4. Mokra gora – Kraljevo – Niš (cca 270 km)
Breakfast, departure toward Kraljevo. Visit monastery Žiča, near Kraljevo, which was the seat of the Archbishop (1219–1253), and by tradition the coronation church of the Serbian kings, although a king could be crowned in any Serbian church, he was never considered a true king until he was anointed in Žiča. Departure to Nis, third largest city in Serbia,  the birthplace of Constantine the Great, in whose time Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire. Overnight at the 4* hotel.

 

Day 5. Niš – Zaječar - Kladovo (cca 210 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Zajecar. You should not miss the opportunity to visit Felix Romuliana, an ancient Roman complex of palaces and temples. Way toward Kladovo, passing through Negotin region, famous for its vineyards. If time allows, you should visit Rajacke or Rogljevske pimnice. Both villages are built using stones and wood and and most of wine cellars are from 18th century. Today these are not used just for storing the wine. Arrival to Kladovo, overnight at the 4* hotel at the Danube shore.

*We recommend you to visit the most important cultural and historical attractions in Niš: the Mediana – a large 4th-century Roman estate; Niš Fortress – the best-preserved Turkish fortress in the central Balkans, built in 1723 and containing the remains of Roman Naissus in its foundations; the Skull Tower (Ćele Kula);

Day 6. Kladovo – Donji Milanovac – Lepenski Vir -  Golubac fortress - Belgrade (cca 160 km)
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Belgrade. At the this day  you have a chance to meet with pearl of the Danube River– Iron Gate. Take a ride toward Donji Milanovac and visit Kapetan Misin Breg, place with most beautiful view on the Danube River. Further on the way there is Lepenski Vir, which was the centre of one of the most important prehistoric cultures. See the Golubac Fortress on the way to Belgrade. Arrival after 2-hours drive. Check in at the hotel, overnight.

 

Day 7 . Belgrade – Čenej – Novi Sad (cca 100 km)
Breakfast at the hotel, departure to Vojvodina. Stop on Čenej, at salas farm 137 where you could taste traditional local specialties ad enjoy in tipical etmosphere of Vojovdia region. There is also possibility for horse riding or rich programme in entertainment for children. Departure to Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina region. Free time for sightseeing of city center. Accommodation at the 3* hotel at city center.

*Enjoy in Novi Sad! Take a walk through main pedestrian zone with lots of cafes and modern shops.  Use opportunity and visit Street Laze Teleckog, famous for many tematic and specifics cafes and restaurants.

Day 8. Novi Sad – Sremski Karlovci – Maradik – Belgrade (cca 110km)
Breakfast. Departure to Sremski Karlovci. Sightseeing of this small baroque town, famous for its beautiful architecture. Wine and grape from the nearby vineyard on the slopes of the Fruska Gora Mountain are one more highlits of this town. Taste wines in one of the traditional, family run wine cellar. Departure to Fruska Gora. Visit to monastery Krusedol, one of the most  important monastery on Fruska Gora, which was founded by Bishop Maksim (Djordje Brankovic) with his mother Angelina. Departure to Maradik. Visit to ethno-house, that is old about 150 years and where the authentic exbits, between 50 and 200 years old, are kept. We recommend you to taste specialties of Vojvodinian kitchen. Departure to Belgrade. Accommodation in 3* a hotel. Overnight.

 

Day 9. Belgrade
Breakfast at the hotel, end of the program. Goodbye Serbia!
