Unraveling the mystery and attraction of Belgrade means looking at this history, while enjoying and getting caught up in its passionate demeanor.
Day 1 (Thursday) BELGRADE
Arrival to Belgrade. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation. Traditional dinner in exclusive national restaurant in Skadarlija, bohemian part of Belgrade. Return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 (Friday) BELGRADE
Breakfast. Free day for individual activities. We recommend short individual introduction with the most important attractions of Belgrade city center (Knez Mihailova Street, Terazije square and Kalemegdan Fortress). After sightseeing we recommend shopping in numerous branded shops in Knez Mihajlova Street, or in famous shopping centers (Delta City, Mercator…). In the evening, we recommend sightseeing at night by boat, with special dinner. Return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 (Saturday) BELGRADE – FRUSKA GORA MOUNTAIN – SREMSKI KARLOVCI – NOVI SAD
Breakfast. Departure from Belgrade in front of hotel. Arrival at Krusedol Monastery - founded by Vladika Maksim (Djordje Brankovic) and it is one of the most beautiful monasteries on Fruska Gora Mountain. The monastery’s church is dedicated to one of many Orthodox saints and the walls are covered in frescoes from the second half of the 16th century. Departure to Sremski Karlovci – small baroque town. Sightseeing of the most interesting place in the town including the Orthodox Church, the Patriarchy Court, the Theology School, and the Grammar School. Visit to the wine-cellar including wine tasting (including Bermet - special desert wine which the town is famous for). Continuing to Petrovaradin with stop for visiting Church at Tekije. Sightseeing of Petrovaradin fortress, called the Gibraltar on the Danube. Petrovaradin fortress is one of the most famous fortresses in Europe and it is situated on the right bank of Danube river. Free time for lunch in one of the restaurants on the fortress. Departure to Novi Sad. Panoramic sightseeing of Novi Sad and departure to the city center. Sightseeing tour of the Novi Sad major attractions, including a short walk in the pedestrian area and Trg Slobode (the main city square), the Cathedral, the Town Hall, Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska Street, the Orthodox Church. After sightseeing you will have free time (shopping, coffee break, individual activities...). Return to Belgrade. Enjoy the night life in Belgrade (night clubs, discotheques, boat rafts…). Return to hotel. Overnight.
Day 4 (Sunday) BELGRADE
Breakfast. Sightseeing of Belgrade by bus - City Council building, National Assembly building, Terazije, Trg Republike, Studentski trg, Belgrade Fortress, Varoš kapija, Novi Beograd, Topčidersko brdo, Dedinje, Trg oslobođenja, Trg Slavija, Trg Nikole Pašića.
Optional excursions - Monastery tour, Wine tour, Adventure tour to Fruska Gora Mountain, One day on the Farm, Jeep adventure in Deliblato Sands, Roman tracks, Meet the Multinational Serbia.
Day 5 (Monday) BELGRADE
Breakfast. Transfer from hotel to airport. The end of the program.
