Pedal past amazing cities and historic sites, scenic landscapes, even a prehistoric desert. Day 1. Belgrade – Subotica – Apatin (cca 250km)

Arrive in Belgrade by airplane. Depart for Subotica. If the group arranges their own transfer, then direct arrival to Subotica. Sightseeing in Subotica – City Hall with City Museum, Synagogue, Reinchard Palace. Depart for Apatin by bus. Accommodation. Overnight.


Day 2. Apatin – Sombor – Backi Monostor – Kupusina – Apatin (BL) (cca 65km)
Breakfast. Bus ride to Sombor. City sightseeing - Church of Holy Trinity, Zupni Dvor (castle), which features a famous sundial, and a hayride at Fijakerski Plac. Bike ride to a beautiful ranch near Sombor, where the lunch will be served. The ranch dates back to the beginning of the 10th century and consists of a farmhouse and acres of stunning land. Ethno tour including sampling of domestic brandies, wines or juices. Bike ride from the ranch to Backi Monostor (15km from Sombor) following the Danube and passing Kupusina and Apatin. Overnight.


Day 3. Apatin – Bogojevo – Bac – Backi Petrovac – Novi Sad (BLD) (cca 110km)
Breakfast. Easy bike ride along the shores of the Danube with a stop at Bogojevo, which marks Serbia's border with Croatia. Lunch. Bus ride to Bac, visit the Middle Age Bac fortress that once stood on the banks of the Danube coast. Today it is 30km inland. Bus ride to the ethnic Slovak village of Backi Petrovac. Visit a XIII century ethno house, which still features its original architecture and furniture. Craft maker’s tour, including blacksmiths, carpenters, bakers, basket weavers. Dinner featuring Slovak cuisine specials. Famous Slovakian kulen (ham), tvaroh cheese and corn cakes, wedding cabbage with beaf or sarma; pork with potato and domestic sausage; dessert – homemade pastry with poppy and honey or piroh with poppy and homemade jam. Folklore. Depart by bus to Novi Sad. Accommodation in a hotel. Overnight.


Day 4. Novi Sad – Cenej – Novi Sad (BL) (cca 50km)
Breakfast. Bike ride through the city and city sightseeing - Orthodox Church, Catholic Church, Zmaj Jovina Street, Dunavska Street, Trg Slobode. Bus ride to Cenej. Bike tour through salas, traditional farms in the rural areas surrounding Novi Sad. Cenej, which was reference to in the XIII century originally featured approximately 500 salas farms. Today, just 100 farms remain. Lunch on a salas farm, where you will enjoy excellent service and experience the unique farm tradition of the region. Return by bus to Novi Sad. Overnight.


Day 5. Novi Sad – Fruska Gora – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad (BL) (cca 70km)
Breakfast. Bus ride to Fruska Gora Mountain. Bike ride over the rugged terrain of Fruska Gora. Car ride option available or travelers who choose not to ride a bike. Visit the Velika Remet monastery, which was built by king Dragutin at the end of XIII century. Visit the Krusedol monastery, which was established by Bishop Maksim (Djordje Brankovic) in the XVI century; it is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Fruska Gora. The monastery’s church is dedicated to Blagovesti and features hand-painted frescoes dating back to the XVI century. Bike ride to Sremski Karlovci. Sightseeing of the most significant cultural and historical sites of Sremski Karlovci - Saborna Church, the city’s famous high school, Bogoslovija, Cetiri Lava, the Four Lions Spring and the Patriarchy Court. Lunch along the shores of the Danube. Visit a wine cellar. Sample a local snack and Bermet, the locally produced aromatic wine. Return by bus to Novi Sad. Overnight.


Day 6. Novi Sad – Sremska Mitrovica – Zasavica – Kupinovo – Obedska Bara – Bojcin Wood – Belgrade (BD) (cca 170km)
Breakfast. Bus ride to Sremska Mitrovica, an archeological and museum. Known as Sirmium during the Roman Empire, Sremska Mitrovica is one of the oldest towns in Europe. City sightseeing. Bike tour to Zasavica – special nature reserve known for its numerous and diverse wildlife, traditional life and historical heritage. Boat ride. Bus ride to Kupinovo, one of the most beautiful villages in Srem; At one time, Kupinovo was a royal city. Visit the remains of a XIII century fortress. Bike from Kupinovo to the Obed swampland, one of the oldest preserved natural reserves in the world. The area features a marsh, wetlands and forests that are inhabited by several thousand species of plants, animals, birds and insects. Bike ride to Bojcin Woods, one of Serbia’s largest wooded areas. Bojcin is famous for its plentiful mushrooms, deer and different tree species. Dinner. Bus ride to Belgrade. Overnight.


Day 7. Belgrade (BD) (cca 30km)
Breakfast. Full day bike tour of Belgrade. City sightseeing - Knez Mihajlova Street, Kalemegdan Fortress, Princess Ljubica Palace, St. Marko’s Church, St. Sava Temple, House of Flowers. Return to hotel. Dinner. Overnight.


Day 8. Belgrade (B) (cca 15km)
Breakfast. Depart for airport. End of program.
